It’s been awhile since I’ve written. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving on the farm! While we had hoped to have our new home filled with the hustle and bustle of our extended family, we chose to be safe and just postpone (like every holiday this year but who is counting).
On Thanksgiving day, we did go up and have Thanksgiving dinner with my in-laws. We had a great meal followed by some card games. We also implemented a new tradition this year, we decided to head out to the pasture and decorate one of the beautiful pine trees. I love these trees. Bryan always reminices about planting those trees with his grandpa. Even during summer those trees bring a fragrance of Christmas to the air. We loaded up the hayrack and headed out to decorate the tree. It turned out beautifully. The following weekend we ended up having a small Thanksgiving here at our house. Our bellies were full.
We are continuing to be safe with Covid. Masks are required in public settings. That’s all we can do for now. Despite all that 2020 has brought us this year, we are continue to be grateful every day for the blessings we have, especially our health.
