Welcome!

Welcome to our new little space within the internet! I’ve dabbled in some blogging before but never made a go of it. As the kids begin to get older, I think now is the perfect time to start.

Who am I? I’m a mom of 3 beautiful and busy children! I was (and still hold licensure) a nurse prior to being a stay at home mom. I’ve had 7 years of working from home experience and finally found my love- being a virtual assistant. I love assisting other boss moms with their social media, email, Pinterest and helping them create community! I love gardening, camping, Target Dollar Bins, all things organizing and my chickens!

Our family: My husband spends his days driving semi and through 3/4 seasons of the year spends his time farming with his dad. It’s a lot of fun to see 3 generations out in the field each Spring and Fall! Our children are involved in 4-H, FFA, Softball, Volleyball, Soccer, Football and we have now added wrestling to the mix.

Our Poultry: We currently focus on 2 breeds of chickens- Silkies and Bantam Cochins. Silkie colors include: Blue, Blue Cream, Splash, Red Pyle, Black, White and Paint. We have finalized our Cochin pen and will be focusing on attaining Mottled and Calico Cochins. We take our breeding program very seriously and breed to standard! We also have a pair of Ducks that have joined our coop!

As I said before, I have done some blogging- and vlogging actually, so I am excited to dive back in and share a bit more about our lives!
